Preparation is underway to begin rolling out the new Lion Portal. Here is some important information to prepare you for launch.
Phased rollout for Lion Account Users
Our target launch window is April 15 – May 13*. During this time, all current Lion Account users will receive an email inviting them to access the new Lion Portal**. We’re doing this phased rollout to ensure staff are available to provide the best support possible and offer you a positive introductory experience.
Please note: User permissions will not change. In other words, those who can report service, access member data and other key functions remains the same.
*Dates are subject to change. Our number one goal is to create a positive experience for Lions and Leos. If determined more time is required to ensure the product is in an optimal state, the dates may be adjusted accordingly.
**If you don’t see the email in your everyday inbox, please check all spam and junk folders for it first before contacting Member Support.
Note that the new Lion Portal will require a unique, unshared email, and phone numbers will no longer be supported as a log in credential.

HEADS UP about the new Lions Portal
The existing system is scheduled to go-offline on April 12 and it is never planned to come back on-line.
The New Portal system is scheduled to go-online on May 13. Yes, there will be 31 days where you will not be able to access either system. This is so they can convert the data.
Between the dates of April 15 and May 13, emails will start going out so you can start creating your new accounts in the new System. To receive one of these invites, you must have a valid and unique email address assigned to your current Membership records. Unique means that it cannot be shared with anyone else.
Club Presidents and Secretaries, please make sure your new year Club officers are entered before April 12. Also, try to update your existing Lions' Membership information with valid phone numbers, email addresses, and mailing addresses. Doing this sooner than later may save you some headaches.
I am asking all current 29L officers, zone chairs, and all PDG's to please relay the following notice to all Club presidents and club secretaries. If any Club cannot currently report their officers for next year, please have them email PDG Terry Snyder (lionterry55@gmail.com) so she can enter the info into the system BEFORE April 12. THIS HAS TO BE DONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!
Please go to https://www.lionsclubs.org/en/resources-for-members/digital-products/portal-updates for more info on the new portal.
