The Friendly Lions Club will be celebrating their 65th anniversary on Tuesday, September 24 at the Friendly Community Center in Friendly, WV.
The guest speaker will be PDG MaryAnn Belles from District 14B in Pittsburgh.
Meeting starts at 6pm and dinner starts at 6:30pm.
Menu is a chicken dish or baked steak. Veggie, salad, drink and dessert are included.
Cost is $25 per person.

The Fairmont Lions / Midtown LEOs E-waste recycling event will be held on August 10. On Friday, July 19th at 2 PM we will have a practice where LEOs and Lions will break down items preparing them for recycling.

Anyone having Electronic or Electrical items they want to donate and see torn down at this event can bring them and if time permitting, we can tear down and prep. 100% of the proceeds raised from our recycling program goes back out to support the community.
Kenny Hayes, owner of Dark and Dusty has granted us the use of the area in front of his upcoming restaurant, Jolea’s to do the tear down training at 2 PM. Location is on the back side of the Commons between Mon Health and Dark and Dusty, picture attached.

When complete, approximately 3PM, we will move into the conference room at the Commons. The Charting Event will commence. The new Midtown LEO club and the Chartering members will officially be recognized as being part of Lions International.
